Wet air enters via the prefilter through into drying vessel
(V1) and passes upwards through the desiccant where moisture
vapour is adsorbed.
A small amount of this dry air is expanded to atmospheric
pressure.
This expanded now super-dry air is purged through the opposite
vessel (V2) where it removes the moisture collected in the
drying cycle.
The dryer operates automatically on a regular timed cycle
ensuring a continuous supply of clean dry air which is then
discharged for use via the afterfilter. |
