System Description
Oxygen Concentrators or Pressure Swing Adsorber (PSA) Systems
are used for on site generation of medical grade oxygen in
hospitals and healthcare facilities throughout the world.
Rimer-Alco concentrators are designed to be fully compatable
with existing oxygen piplines. Concentrators provide a primary
source of oxygen with continuous real time monitoring systems.
Automatic operation ensures that fluctuating demand can
be met by duplexing the system with one unit on duty and the
other producing oxygen to meet peak loads. Alarms are incorporated
and monitor both pipeline supply pressure and oxygen purity
so that the system can run at maximum efficiency. Demand can
be supplemented or substituted with back up systems usually
comprising of high pressure cylinders.

Cylinder filling during periods of low demand can
be achieved automatically using a High Pressure Booster
Pump and Manifold, which can be provided as an optional
extra.
Cylinder Filling Stations consist of Booster Pump,
Wall Mounted Manifold complete with HP Gauge, Safety
Valve, Isolating Valves and Pigtails and all inter-connecting
pipework.
